It's wild to believe we're already in year 3 of Crop! However, after 2 sold-out Crop's, a sold-out Pop-Up Crop, countless words of inspiration & advice, engaging workshops, a strengthened and renewed creative community, food, drinks & good times that only Louisiana can provide - here we are. Each year we strive to bring the most well rounded group of creatives to Crop. Year three is no exception. We're beyond excited to be bringing you 14+ of some of the most creative & inspirational folks we know. Again, day one will be full of engaging workshops to get your creative juices flowing.   In 2013, Danielle combined her love of lettering, design, photography, and eating to create  food typography . Her work is internationally regarded as both innovative and mouth watering, inspiring new trends in social campaigns, advertising, and motion. CRAFTING A KILLER TALK - FRIDAY LUNCH WORKSHOP
WITH BRIAN MANLEY AND SCOTTY RUSSELL

You’re full of great ideas, but how do you articulate them publicly through speaking, podcasting or vlogging? If you’re curious on where to start or ready to take your speaking skills to the next level then this workshop is for you. In this workshop, Brian and Scotty will equip you with:

  • The skills to overcome the fear of speaking
  • The game plan to craft a killer talk
  • The tools to prepare and deliver with confidence
  • A deeper look at the art and craft of storytelling.

The workshop will be held Friday, April 6th during lunch time at Jolie Pearl restaurant & bar. Lunch at Jolie Pearl is included with the Friday RED ticket.

They say California knows how to party, but it's safe to say that Louisiana does too, y'all. Each year Crop throws amazing after parties on both Thursday and Friday nights of Crop. We're changing things up this year with a launch party on Thursday and our blowout wrap party on Friday as Crop 2018 comes to a close.We've got great plans for both - Thursday night Drink & Draw with Lincoln Design Co. and . All registrants are able to attend each party. Register now (if you haven't already) and come throw down with us and all of your newest friends.

LAUNCH PARTY

After our first day of Crop, take a short walk with us and join us at Caneland Distilling Company where Lincoln Design Co. will be hosting our Thursday night Drink & Draw. Mighty Short will be doing a custom illustration with Industry Print Shop slinging live prints. Bring your own drawing supplies (paper, pens, markers, tablets, etc) and come hungry and thirsty. Caneland makes THE best spirits this side of the Mississippi and we'll have a food truck roundup out front. Register now if you haven't already!

FRIDAy, April 6th at THE OLD GOVERNORS MANSION

AFTER PARTY

Our Crop 2018 Official After Party is going to be something special. The party will be held at the Historic Old Governor's Mansion just a 5 minute walk from the Shaw Center for the Arts. Live music, free food, free drinks and more. Additionally, we'll have our annual There Will be Bleed Q&A and poster pull with Industry Print Shop, James Victore and The Forefathers Group - you can only get these prints at THIS party. Don't miss out. We're pleased to announced that we've partnered with Goodtype for the first ever Crop x Goodtype Live Lettering Challenge. 4 letterers will go head to head on giant 4'x8' canvasses to create that special 4 letter word we all know and love... CROP!

Shaw Center for the Arts

Crop is held in the beautiful Shaw Center for the Arts in Downtown Baton Rouge. Keynotes are held in the Manship Theatre at Shaw Center for the Arts. Workshops, vendors, attractions and more will be held throughout it's other many spaces. The Shaw Center is also home to award winning restaurants, a coffee shop and a full service bar. Everything you need, right in one place.
